Louis Campbell Wins 36 Hole Spring Meeting

Congratulations to Louis Campbell for winning this year’s 36 Hole Golf College Spring Meeting. In tough conditions he managed to hold on to his lead over Phil Abbott, Jake bacon, Jack Mudd & Thomas Hughes. Campbell managed rounds of 72 & 69 to finish on 141, winning by a shot, despite Abbott’s closing 66.

Well done to Ben Hughes on winning the Nett with rounds of 68 & 63 to beat Phil Abbott by a shot.

Stephan Daly has Appointment at The Wisley

Congratulations to Stephen Daly on his appointment as Assistant Professional at the prestigious Wisley Golf Club.

Against stiff competition Stephen won through to become the second Golf College graduate to be appointed at the Wisley this year, the other being Charlie George.

Dan is currently an Assistant PGA Professional working out of East Brighton Golf Club.

The Golf College Golf-2-Employment programme has proved a great success for Charlie George who has been employed by The Wisley, one of the most prestigious golf clubs in the South of England.

Charlie returned to The Golf College as a post-graduate taking the Golf-2-Employment course and has now been employed at The Wisley in the role of Assistant Professional. We congratulate him on his appointment and wish him every success in the future.

Congratulations to first year Golf College student Mitchell Sarling on being picked to represent England against Scotland and Ireland later this month.

Congratulation to the Golf College Essex Boys!

The 2012 Essex Boys Championship held at Colne Valley Golf Club and the top honours were taken by students of the Golf College.

Mitchel Sarling, who joins the Golf College this year won the event with rounds of 76 and 70 for a total of 146. Mitchel also took the under 16 Championship.
We wish Mitchel every success in his time at the college.

Jake Bacon, who is starting his second year, was runner-up in the event with rounds of 75 and 72.
Jake joined the Golf College a year ago with a handicap of 16 is now playing off 2.

Recruiting for September 2013

We have started recruiting for September 2013.

The Workshops have proven a successful and popular event for prospective students. It has been a great way of introducing new students to The College and for us to be able to start working on improving their skills.

Workshop Recruiting for intake September 2013

Saturday 16th February 2013

Start 9am and finish at 12pm, with the option to play afterwards.
