Welcome to The Golf College – where golfing excellence meets education. Based at Lindfield Golf Club since 2007, our unique program offers students an unparalleled golfing experience. With management control of our own facility, we provide unlimited access to the golf course, practice balls, Trackman, long game and short game facilities, as well as 50+ tournament rounds per year, including our own PGA Professional event and WAGA events.

Our elite coaching team, consisting of nationally and internationally recognized coaches, provides an average of 17 hours of coaching per week, including 6 full-time coaches and specialists in areas such as putting, chipping, bio-mechanics, and sports psychology. With a coach to an Open Champion, two European Tour players, and a Trackman Master Professional on our team, we are dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential. EDUCATIONAL STANDARDS

OUR ACHIEVEMENTS

Our educational record is outstanding and well above the national average for achievement in the BTEC qualification. In previous years an average of 85% of our students have achieved Distinctions leading to opportunities in Higher Education.

In addition, for those students who have not achieved satisfactory grades in GCSE English and Maths we provide extra tuition in these subjects. We are an approved Examination Centre and conduct nationally audited English and Maths exams on site.

Uniquely the college spends its winter term from January to March in Portugal and is the only college in the UK which is allowed to deliver The BTEC Extended Diploma in this way. This provides our students with the unique opportunity to continue with both their education and their golf development during the British winter.

GOLF EDUCATION

Golf Coaching

The coaches you will be studying under at The Golf College are outstanding in their individual fields. Golf College Coaches include Master Professional Denis Pugh, who coached Colin Montgomerie to eight European Tour Order of Merit wins, Founder and Head Coach Paul Lyons.

Golf Competitions

Weekly golf competitions during term-time in the UK, combined with 9 weeks of golf training abroad during the winter months, provide plenty of opportunities for students to reduce their handicap, sharpen their games, and prepare for a season of golf. Are you competitive?

Golf Education

New Government Legislation from the Department For Education requiring all students to remain in education until the age of 18, we have the perfect platform to deliver all the Golf Education Programmes leaving students with endless possibilities within the industry.

Golf Open Days
